Description

Instructor-led RPAS Basic Operations ground school and preparation for the Transport Canada Small Basic Examination. No previous drone experience is required to enrol.

Practical flight training and a flight review are neither required for the Basic Operations pilot certificate nor included in this $750 plus applicable taxes course. Transport Canada examination and certificate fees are separate and paid through the Drone Management Portal. Course completion does not issue a pilot certificate, authorize operations, or guarantee examination success.

Training dates depend on instructor and facility availability. Submit cancellation or rescheduling requests in writing: at least seven calendar days’ notice allows one complimentary rescheduling; between 72 hours and seven days may incur an administrative fee; less than 72 hours or failure to attend may forfeit the session. Exceptions require CPA approval.
